Sacramento, CA – KP Public Affairs (KP) is pleased to announce Alison MacLeod as a new partner at the firm. Ms. MacLeod joined KP in 2006 and since then has led a wide variety of the firm’s public relations campaigns, including local, statewide, and national strategic communications programs.

Ms. MacLeod has extensive experience in media relations, coalition building, project siting, grassroots outreach, and community education programs. She has helped clients win state grant funding, secure local project permits, and earn positive media coverage in support of their goals. Alison has expertise in local transportation, including inter-city rail and transit, and worked for years on statewide energy policy issues. She led the California public affairs program in support of an international trade deal and provides ongoing public relations for healthcare clients including the California Society of Anesthesiologists and California Ambulatory Surgery Association. She works with local governments, as well as non-profits and a charter school system.

Ms. MacLeod has demonstrated strong leadership within the firm, and her unwavering commitment to deliver positive results for KP clients has significantly contributed to the company’s growth and success.
